I would like to become a tax preparer. I currently live on a military base in Germany so I am unable to attend a face-to-face class. I would eventually like to become an EA. Has anyone taken an online program? And, how effective was it for employment opportunities? I am so worried about getting scammed. I found this one school and I am also wondering if anyone has graduated from it. It is called National Tax Training School. Am I wasting my money if I enroll in this program? Please someone help!!!

I checked on the Internet for you and this website looks pretty impressive to me and legit too although I have no personal experience with it. Take a look for yourself. http://www.universalclass.com/i/crn/3894.htm?r=kcw66949
I have never heard of National Tax Training School but there is a lot out there that is legit that I have no familiarity with. My advice is to check out a few of these websites and particularly look to see if there are any comments posted at the website by people who have taken the courses online.
