You have to create a section break

at the end of the 4th page, go to
Page Layout - Break - Section Break - Next page

Then insert page numbers and select the format (i,ii,iii)

Go to the next section and if the numbers are already displayed, select a number and change the format (1,2,3)
.Also select the option "starting from 1."

If you have any question still, just let me know

Insert your page numbering in either the header or the footer (I prefer footer). Your current numbering style is "i, ii,..." which you will use for, say for example, the first three pages of a six page doc. At the end of page "iii" insert a SECTION BREAK beginning next page.

On page four, enter the footer, DE-LINK the footer from the previous section (it's a header/footer formating button) then select the numbering style to use in the new section. Close the header/footer edit mode.

Done.

You can change the numbering style by highlighting the area that's in roman numerals and then clicking on the small down arrow next to the numbering button within the Home ribbon.

This will give you the opportunity to select a new numbering system. By default, Word remembers your last setting, so you need to change it when you start using a new one.

I just tested it and it worked fine.
