Quit. If you don't want to play then don't.

you should play if you love the game and you should do what makes you happy. You're family and friends will like you no matter if you play or not! You can always play intramural sports.

give it a chance.
Chicks love guys who play football. The games are exciting. It looks good on your applications to college. You keep in shape. You form good friendships with teammates. You keep your grades up.
That about sums it up!

Do what makes you happy which sounds like you should put football on hold for now. Be honest with your family and especially to yourself.

You have to do what is right for you. It is your life and if you don't want to play football, don't. Explain to your parents how you feel and as far as anyone else is concerned, it is none of their business

just explain what you've said here...if there are people who don't understand they are just trying to live through you and sounds like you are old enough to make your own decisions and live your own life...good luck
