With out a doubt Hayley Wickenheiser. Did you see the goal she scored at this years Worlds? That was a sweet goal by any standards, men's or women's.
Since women's hockey hasn't been around in the spotlight as long as men's, many of the great players are still playing.
I think Cassie Campbell gets an honorable mention.

No question about it, it's Hayley Wickenheiser. Whenever I watched the games, it was evident she was better than the other players. Manon Rheaume may have played one preseason game against the boys, but Wickenheiser played an entire season one or two years ago, and a skating position is much more physically demanding playing with men than a goalie position.

Hayley Wickenheiser. Cassie Campbell is pretty close too.
Mike, Rheaume's former status in the NHL is VERY debatable because it was a publicity stunt by Esposito. While many do feel that she's a great goalie, the same people feel that her calibre of play isn't quite up to NHL standards.

It's tough to say with so little attention drawn to women's hockey (unfortunately). But Cammi Granato and Angela Ruggiero come to mind. Also Kim Martin, the goalie from Sweden is good. I watched her play in the 2002 Olympics when she was just days before her 16th birthday, and she was just about unbeatable.

Cammi Granato is the first one who comes to mind for me. She was the captain of the 1998 U.S. Olympic team and by far the best in American history. Erin Whitten was also a goalie. She played for the Toledo Storm during the 1993-94 season, and later on, was placed on the IR due to a pregnancy.

Manon Rheaume.. without a doubt.. played in the ECHL with Nashville and Knoxville, as well as the IHL (the highest NHL minor league level) with Atlanta .. led the Canadian Women's olympic team and has two world championship gold medals.. first woman to play in a men's junior A with Trois Rivieres.. and played one period for the Tampa Bay Lightning in a pre-season game against St. Louis making five saves on seven shots.. Her brother, Pascal Rheaume, played most of his career with the same St. Louis Blues..
