Do ouija boreds usually work?

I know ouija boreds are wrong and everything..but i was wondering if they work often? See my sister died July 3 and I miss her so much! I know who you want to come through isnt always them. Please tell me your ouija bored stories..

No, they don't really work. People who say to avoid them are just being superstitious ninnies. Try one if you want, but be assured, they don't actually do anything.

Let me lay this out for you very logically: A ouija board is a piece of cardboard with some printed text on it, and a little plastic thing with a clear lens. Do you truly think it is capable of contacting the dead?

Here's your first lesson on the world of the paranormal, kid: Ouija boards are bogus. However they do seem to act as a focus for gleaning insight. (Whether that insight comes from your own subconscious or spiritual influence is open to interpretation). That said, using a ouija board is completely unnecessary as you can get the exact same answers by spending some quiet time in meditation.

Now operating under the assumption that ghosts and demons exist, using a ouija board to open your mind like that (or just opening your mind on your own without using a focus) can be highly dangerous. How can you be certain you aren't being lied to? You can't see who's giving you the information. They might feed you some pretty lies, tell you a couple truths, just to build up your confidence. Then slowly work their way into your mind, and next thing you know, Charlie Manson all over again.

Operating on the assumption that ghosts and demons don't exist, a ouija board is merely a harmless toy that is as prone to giving useful information as tossing a pile of Alpha-Bits cereal on the ground and reading what comes up.

Either way, there's not much incentive to use one, is there?

If you were to consult the ouija board, you MIGHT get your sister to come through. However, you are also opening a portal for ANYTHING that wants to come through! Ouija boards are very dangerous, and any good psychic or medium will tell you the same. Once something comes through, you might have a very hard time getting rid of it. Most people who use ouija boards wind up burning them, and even that doesn't always work! Also, evil spirits can be really good liars. How would you know if they were just feeding you a bunch of lies so that they could come through the portal?

Also, just because she died and you miss her and want to talk to her, that doesn't mean that she is just hanging around waiting for the opportunity to communicate with you. She may be very busy getting on with her spiritual progression. Pray for her soul, send her good vibes, let her know that she is loved and missed, but stay away from divination by ouija board, PLEASE!!

No one has ever been able to prove that they can work. If someone could do that, then there are lots of skeptic organizations across the US that would pay thouse ouija board people prize money. All they have to do it prove the ouija board in a scientific, controlled experiment. No one has even come close to getting one of these prizes. In fact, I am not sure of even any credible scientific experiments that show that the ouija boards are anything more than cheap entertainment.

Some may say that there are plenty of studies and experiments that show they work. However, I bet they do not give the name of the scientific journal those results were posted in. In real science, the results of experiments and studies like these end up going to journals for peer review. It is part of the scientific process.

Yes, they work if you have the right people involved. DON'T mess with a ouija board. The spirit world is real and should not be taken lightly or played with. When you use a ouija, you are enticing spirits, and the spirits you encounter will likely be malignant, especially if you are not spiritually evolved or spiritually mature or not in the right place in your head. A benevolent spirit will usually NOT work through a ouija because they do not want to encourage people on to a path that will most likely bring them harm. Trust me. Don't do it.

I have a question. If you were talking to a person or spirit who knew everything there was to know about someone else, and could even appear by what they said to be that person, how would you figure out that you were being fooled.

Your first answer is that they do not work. That is not completely the case. You are dealing with spiritual creatures that will appear to be your friend if they do talk at all.

ouija boards were a cheap game a european man came up with during a short lived religion he made up, the name comes from the 2 words oui and ja both mean yes. so suffice 2 say if the work it's just luck

Yes, they DO work. They are psycotronic devices which depend on the human mind to power them. They work by focusing your mind and providing an easy means to allow the subconscious to take control of your hands.

If you choose to pursue this, know that it is possible to put up an 'iris' to keep the vortex closed to unwanted spirits. BUT you have to know how to install it. There might be something on George Noorey's site about that.

You should stay away from those things. I had a couple of bad experiences with them. You are not gonna talk to your dead sister through one. If you want to talk to your sister, do it through prayer and stay away from the ouija boards.

You'll likely not be able to contact your sister - more than likely it'll be a demon or some other sort of malicious spirit that will pretend to be your sister and build your curiosity into the occult.
