answer bigoted questions on y/a.
I decided that I was going to try to refrain from answering those kinds of questions, because I realized that I was turning into one of them, in some ways. I also think that without us, the people who ask those vile questions, won't have an audience, i.e., they'll go away. So, can you think of any good reasons why you and other people shouldn't answer them?
I am not saying not to, I am just asking~

I totally know what your talking about! Some people ask the most insensitive questions, without thinking of hurting anyones feelings! Usually I ignore it, But if the question is too horrible, I write: What a horrible thing to say, or Be careful what you say or it will bite you in the butt!

Hi and good morning ....I agree with you because as you stated 'it just keeps the ball rolling'. It's fuel for the fire so do speak. But unfortunately and I have been one of those individuals that has to reply to a question such as those that you are referring...because I don't appreciate other individuals 'downgrading' others for their race or ideals or cultures and so when I read something to this effect I 'speak my peace' so do speak. It's probably not a good thing to voice my opinion since it does keep the fire going but sometimes it just can't be helped! Have a great day!

- When you go back to all those questions that you answered do you really want to see all those retarded questions that you responded to?
- It will mean that you took the higher road and ignored the ignorant

I usually just report them. Or, if I answer them, I do it in a very intelligent way so that I press the point that they are ignorant.

My answering them you are giving the prejudiced idiots the validation they want and more attention than they deserve. Ignore them and eventually they will slink away.

Because if you value what you do on this site, you have to remember the cowards want to bring you down. Management isn't going to determine who started it, they will just delete accounts.

They want attention and you are giving them what they want. Why would you want to give a person what they want when their goal is to hurt you?
You can report people without responding to them.
