i think you were referring to "Top 10 Best Answerers".

sometimes it glitches, but then fixes itself not long after.

as far as this "Top Contributor" tag ... they're stupid (as you can see, i was somehow given one). they hand them out to anyone who posts a lot in the hockey section, regardless of intellect. after you've been here awhile (just probly long enough to get the name tag), you'll notice that all it means is that you're on the forum a lot. please, do NOT think that it means that the person knows what they are talking about.

I've been a top contributor for about a week now. HABITANT was by far the #1 contributor in hockey way before I even joined yahoo, like a year ago or something. Then he left cause he had to move (says so on his profile), and now he's making a comeback and trying to regain his #1 crown from bob loblaw. bob II is a fake, he set up multiple accounts and voted for his answers for best answer to get to #1, and then someone found out and he quit. Now he's #2. I mean #3. Sens enfocer answers sometimes, but not that often in the offseason.

Habitant used to be top top contributor. If you look at his profile, he said something about moving and that took up most of his time. Sens Enforcer said after the Ducks won that he'll be busy during the summer as well. Bob II (anyone watched Reboot back in the late '90s?) used to be that no-name top top contributor until Bob I took over.

Yahoo has a secret formula that's supposed to cut you off once you start lagging. Same with the top contributor things. Secret. Part of why a good number of people on the board hate them. in a lot of sections like politics, they go to the loudest trolls and not to the people who accually produce good answers.

I think that the top list probably went to a backup and then they updated the code or something, so you got an old list.

I know what you mean....we need some solid contributors to hockey in the offseason as well as during the season....obviously i dont have top contributor for hockey YET only Earth Science and Geology but i'm working on it...so if you want to help then mark me as best answer lol j/k....ill be there soon and yull see me all over the hockey forum

It's the offseason, there is less to comment on, and not as much to talk about, except the same things over and over and over. Even I barely find things worth commenting on, that and I got a new job and can't get on the internet all day like I used to. People will be back when the season starts. This might be the last post I have till then (sigh).

Only for like 2 days now though.
yeah im getting pretty bored, nothing much happening in the hockey section, thats why i cant wait for the season to start. This section will start up again, and im really excited to see how some newly built teams preform once the season starts.

FYI, back when Habitant was on here often, he always gave knowledgeable answers and was decent to everyone. But anyway, I think the internet is out to get people today. Earlier AIM was cutting off my away messages for some reason...weirdness.

It's summer. A lot of people simply don't have much to say right now about hockey. If you don't keep answering, then Yahoo! drops you. It'll start cookin' again in October.
