At basketball practice...I always sweat way more than all of the other girls. Its not like I am out of shape or anything...but I probably just got my dad's genes or something. I don't really sweat that much under my arms or my back like some of the other girls...however...i sweat tons on my face. What is something i can put on my face that will help me sweat less...please help! thanks!!!

Is it really that bad? Or more important ,are you wearing makeup during practice? Putting anything on your face that will clog the pores is a bad idea. You'll just make a bad situation worse. It would irritate my skin and make me go all blotchy. It may be bad enough to sweat, it may be much worse to try and stop it. You can get a sweat band for around your wrist and have something to mop it up as you go along. Can't you settle for being discreet and just keep it tidy? No one will mind how much you sweat at the state championship, will they?
It's not unusual to have beads of sweat on your forehead and if you plan and strategize this may be a big part or your involvement in the game. Mental energy is just as important as physical energy. They may play with a different style but if you win, isn't that what's most important?
Can you live with that and still play the game?Quite frankly, I think you're making a big fuss over nothing. In basketball, as in every sport, nothing matters as much as winning. Why are you letting this trivial matter distract you? Wash your face after practice. Sweat can clog pores so use an exfoliant to scrub away black heads and to keep the skin clean and get on with it. If you accept it at face value and make light of it, everyone else will have to too.
Make jokes, have fun, enjoy it. If you laugh everyone will laugh with you.

maybe you should hold a little towel with you so when ever you sweat wipe your face ,oh and wash your face evry day after practice.

Hon, sweating is a good thing. It cleans your body of toxins,if your face didn"sweat it would be covered with pimples.

if ur in puberty its okay cuz u sweat alot cuz of ur changes in the body. If ur not in puberty i recommend sweat band and drink lots of water while playing

that really sux, i would say put some anti persperant on your face, but that would just be retarded. if it's really that bad u should go see a dermatologist...but your parents might say it's not that big of a deal

i really dont know what to do but if was me i would cerry a hankerchief and wipe my face every time it starts to get sweaty thanks for asking the qwestion god bless you
