Yeah. Even though I am 26 years old, my parents are 72. My mom is very senile. My mom thinks I'm her dead aunt and my dad plays along with it. He does frequently tell my that my mom is crazy. I have no siblings so I'm aunt Bojana. My purse is the Devil. She not only mixes up names but also talks in Macedonian half the time.

That's funny. At least your not the dog or the lamp! But to answer ... no not yet. The still have solid minds and are sharp as tacks! They are in their early 60's.

LOL That's hilarious...but sad.
My mom would sometimes start saying my brother's name but change it to mine halfway through.
His name is Ross and mine is Jackie, so it would come out as RoJack or JaRoss.

Dad remembers my name, but asks me everytime I see him what I got my degree in. And has trouble remembering my age.

Yup. Dad is 74 and Mom is 72. He calls me by my older sisters name (we do resemble each other). She has taken to calling me toots.

My mother has always run through all the kids names, then two dog names, said, "dammit" then she recalls my name. My whole life!

Yep. When they start going down the line of siblings and THEN get to your name, they getting old. Or worse when you hear, hey you, you know your name! Go fix me something to drink.
