If your laptop is brand new or less than 5 years old you should have an ethernet card the best way to check, if you have windows. go to start menu, all programs, accesories, system tools, system information. There will be a window that pops up, and click on the line on the left side that says "hardware summary" it'll give you all those details.

Go to "start" "my computer" right click on the my computer icon and select properties. It will tell you what processor (intel) you have an how much memory you have.

For free space "start" my computer, let it open this time, right click on the hard drive (c:) and again select properties. The "pink" display of the pie chart is your free space.

It should say it on a sticker on the Desktop if it isn't a LapTop. If it is, there should be stickers around it, or you'll find it on the box.
