A friend of mine asked me if I had to pick out of the two which one is the best who would it be? I couldn't give him an answer. Who do you think is the better out of the two and why?

That's a tough one, and I don't know if there's a definite way to settle it. I guess it comes down to personal taste.
With Nas, you'd get at least 9 award-winning albums with at least a couple of good songs guaranteed to be on each one.
With Talib Kweli you would be getting A LOT of underground stuff. Some of it may not have been released for a good reason. I like Talib, but there was a 6 minute freestyle with him and Mos Def, that straight up sucked. It was like that was a practice track or something. But you would get a TON of variety with Talib Kewli's music if you could find it all because it's mostly underground and scattered everywhere, but he has collaborated with lots of great artists. So he has good music too, but much harder to find.
Man which one to pick, that's a head-scratcher...

kwali is better than nas but my favorite are t.i. and 50 cent right now t.i. cause he always has a song with a meaning behind all the big **** poppin and 50 cause for the first time theres no beef around him so he doesnt have to try to rely on contreversy to seel an album he showing his true skill and im impressed

Nas, who is possibly the best rapper alive, and his lyrics are mind blowin' . dont get me wrong kweli is a great emcee too
