The Washington State parks website has links to just about every state park where you can camp. They even provide pictures of most sites, so you can see before you head out or make a reservation.

I personally prefer Alder Lake, near Eatonville, although we made the drive over the mountains last week to Yakima and had a nice time camping there, too.

I don't know of any spots near Seattle, but I really like Fort Warden State Park. It's an old military base on the Olympic Peninsula that is now a camp ground. It has a few small lakes, and the Olympic Mtns.

There's also Lake Kacheelas on the Cascades. Just take i-90 until you see the sign. It's settled on the banks of a lake at the base of a mountain. It's really nice to float in since it has it's own current, but it's not a river so you won't go downstream or anything. I don't remember many flowers, but I'm sure there are some nearby in Roslyn or something.

Mt. Rainier has some great camping sites. You get beautiful views of the mountain, it's glaciers, the waterfalls, and a lot of great trails to view flowers ect. The Olympic Mt's are also very nice to camp in. Down in Oregon, there is Crater Lake. I have never been but everyone who has gone has loved it. Also, up in Canada there are some great places:
