There has been something fishy about this saga since day one and now with the twists and turns it has taken over the past few days it now has become totally bizarre. God knows what we will hear next. But I do feel that Gerry and Kate kept throwing spanners in the works to draw the attention and the law away from themselves. The only thing I know for sure is The McCanns are guilty of child neglect, which started this whole thing and they have no one to blame but themselves. I am surprised their weren't invested on for their part. I think the plot is thickening and the net is closing in. They can jog but they can't run and hide from the truth forever and I think the truth will be sooner rather then later.

Suspicion is now on Madeleine's parents. It might well have been an accident. The parents wanting to divert attention away from themselves decided to gain publicity. The sympathy of the public was with them. New developments in finding blood in the apartment points to the death of Madeleine. The parents decided to cover this situation by disposing of the body in the sea. In a matter of days the body would be devoured by the creatures in the sea so they cannot be charged. DNA will play an important part in this investigation. It might well be remains of DNA could be located in the sea Check out if the McCann's hired a boat before the 3rd of May. This would be the vessel that carried her body out to sea. I have from day one had my suspicions. Look how calm the couple look. I am sure any mother who lost her child would be very very upset and breakdown during interviews on TV. Has anybody seen that No They are milking the publicity for all it is worth.

I've said it before and i've said it again: If someone kidnapped her then why haven't they contacted anyone about ransom?

My theory: Madeleine was in the bedroom having a fit about something. One of her parents, who had had enough and just lost all their pateince with the child, got rough with her and in the process, (sadly) killed her.

Inquiries: The twins were sleeping, why didn't they wake up?
Were they sleeping? Or were they in another room with the other parent? Lets say they were sleeping close by. A scream, like a former answerer suggested, would have awakened them. But Maddy could have been killed silently, for example, by her neck being broken. Children that small are very fragile and if an adult is shaking them in anger...well, you do the math.

So, the parents panic and start the never-ending lies. If in fact they are doctors, they are educated people who thought through the obviously well planned cover up in a few minutes time (cleaning up blood or any signs of a stuggle, opening the window to raise suspicions of an intruder). After carefully disposing of the body, they collect themselves and "enjoy" a dinner for them two of them, later admitting to leaving the children alone in the hotel room, thinking that they would rather be blamed for this form of child neglect and ignorant follishness than first degree murder; in other words, the lesser of two evils.

It is sad that there are people in this world that could,. and would, do these things, even to their own children, but the fact remains that these people are indeed out there. If you don't believe this is so, think back to the Laci Petterson case. The type of family you would least suspect carrying out such acts, and yet it happened, against the will of the nation, Scott was found guilty of killing his wife and unborn son, on Christmas Eve no less if I am not mistaken.

My point is, don't put it past people to act in horrific ways, no matter how many tears they shed. The evidence does not lie, and the more I read online and hear in the news, the evidence points more in the direction of the parents.

Okay, I dont know what happend to Maddie, But theres also a lot of ways to figure things out. It may sound crazy but I think its worth it." Haunting Evidence" if you watch this show, then give them a call there sidecicks who figure COLD CASES. OR why ther missing and where there at. Give it a try. If the parents really cared they would of tryed EVERYTHING even unbeliveable stuffs. Give it a shot and keep praying..

I believe the child was shoved or walloped by her mother and fell against the wall and was severely injured.
Gerry wrapped the child in a blanket and took her away. He has not told Kate where he left the body.
She has always shown signs of distress caused by guilt, not by sorrow. She clutched the toy because it was Madeleine's and was the only part of the child she was able to hang on to. She is waiting for the body to be discovered so that she can openly show her grief.
She has made no attempt to search the undergrowth or anywhere else for her child.
The body has likely as not been thrown down a well or wedged under a rock at the sea shore.

I think Maddy died in the apartment . I don't think it was done by a stranger because why would they remove a dead body and try to clean blood off the wall ? For all they knew the parents would be back at anytime and the only thing they would have been concerned about is making a quick escape. Therefore I think Maddy was killed by someone she knew ie parents ..covered up by the friends. Could have been an acident ,but then why didn't the McCanns rush outside and get help ?

Not sure but I have a feeling she's dead, all these so called sightings..if I thought I saw Madeleine I for one would approach the persons and ask if I could see the child more closely and if I truly believed it her I would ask for assistance from members of the public around me and not wait until they had fled the scene then speak up.

wow! a lot of people think that her dad killed her. As i said in another question ... i lost interest in this story.
i dont know the whole story but of what ive seen on tv and online is that i thought from the beginning that the parents werent sad enough about the situation. i read a blog that the father writes online everyday that they were planning to do things on the 100th day of her being missing ... who even thinks about that when their kid has been "kidnapped". I saw them on tv today .... SMILING for the camera!!!!
If they did this all themselves then theyve planned it out well to get people to give them money so they can fly all over the world and live in Portugal.
Oooohhh, just had a thought ... the parents are both doctors right??? doctors know how to kill people if they wanted.

ok , ive rambled on enough .... thanks for reading !!
ps. heres a star for hopefully reading it all!!

If it does turn out that (one of) the parents did it, the papers will make life for the rest of the family, and all of the friends in the party, absolute hell. Their brother's dentist will find people going through his rubbish to see if he's rented an X-rated video ("Maddy sicko perv doc shock").

On the other hand it will make the Pope look stupid for giving them an audience, so there's an upside there. :))
