Okay, so last year a group of friends and I planned a trip to Vegas. We stayed at the Venetian and it worked out nicely as the room was spactious and accomodated our group. Unfortunately, rooms during the weekend we are going, Aug 24-26th, are a little pricey. I wanted to know where i could find a nice suite on the strip (at a decent casino) for a reasonable price?

The two "most reasonable" would probably be.
Luxor >Pyramid Spa Suite

The Rio is an all suite hotel that's about a block off strip. It's down the road between Bellagio and Caesar's. It's a decent casino, nice pool and the pictures of the rooms looked really good. It's also $60 less per day than the Venetian and it's not so far off strip as to be inconvenient. There's also the Platinum hotel and spa which has no casino and is walking distance from the strip - down Flamingo but is priced well and has great reviews. When I've stayed off strip, I pick an area for the day and park at one of the casinos and then walk to the different casinos.

Wyndam Grand Desert is off strip about 3 blocks (between strip and Hard Rock) Thats where I will stay in Dec. I have stayed at many hotels on the strip and you really cant go wrong

Why not try staying downtonw this time?? We are staying at a great suite at the Golden Nugget, leaving tomorrow. Really good price and you can always take the shuttle to the strip to hang out there. Downtown is fun! TRY IT!!!

The Alexis Park is an all suite hotel two blocks from the Strip. They have rates from $79/night.
