What do I do with my recovery CD?

I made some recovery CDs with "Compaq Recovery CD-DVD Creator". I think they're all CDs with drivers on them, but I don't know how to exactly use them when I reinstall windows, help?

If you look on the one labelled "recovery disc 1" or similar there might be a helkp file, or try readingf the compaq support pages, or heaven forbid, contact Compaq tech support. After all as their program made the discs they SHOULD know how to use them !!!

Generally, the recovery CD has everything already setup for you -- you just restart your computer with the CD in the computer and follow the instructions on the screen.
