Dr. Graham Giles of Australia maintains that males need to ejaculate at least six times a week to prevent prostate cancer. He did a study in men with prostate cancer, which asked them their frequency of masturbation at various times in their lives. He asked these same questions of a control group of similar-aged men without prostate cancer. The result was that the males who masturbated most frequently when they were in their teens and 20s had the least incidence of prostate cancer later.

There is no specific study or poll for that, though some cases about spinsters ties with their common jitters and mood swings. Undoubtedly, the long abstinence becomes a great effort, while sex is good and healthy as the factual scientific information affirms. Since sex helps Prostate for example, then we could assume the contrary also!
Anyway, abstinence is a personal choice and independently from its reasons nobody can judge or interfere.

None, You should do what ever you want. If you, think that to abstain will bring you happiness, then that is what you should.
If you meet a person that you are turned on by, and they are also turned on go for. Just be safe and always wear a condom. Life is about choices and we become the people we are today by the choices we made yesterday. I don't believe that have sex is a deadly sin nor do I think that having lots of sex makes you a better or more interesting person.

None. on the different hand, the emotional adulthood from disciplining your self is wonderful. I easily believe there is not any thank you to fulfill your genuine love till you stay celebate.

You might find yourself being VERY AWARE of all the women around you, but then after awhile you will probably calm down...
