Are you asking in case you will get pregnant with yet another infant when you're already pregnant with one? Your physique releases an egg as quickly as a month, and as quickly as that one is fertilized and implanted, hormones stop your ovaries from freeing from now on eggs. Your cervix additionally closes up with a mucus plug, which seals off your uterus/fallopian tubes/etc. from sperm and the different foreign places count (think of: micro organism and different nasties). there is genuinely no thank you to alter into pregnant lower back till the infant is born. Non-same wins, triplets, etc. ensue while 2 or extra eggs are released on an identical time and are fertilized and implant. those toddlers will all be an identical age. same twins are additionally an identical age, yet result from a random splittling of the fertilized egg good in the initiating.

Actually, it's entirely possible to ovulate twice within the same cycle, producing fraternal twins. Usually when this happens, the two eggs drop at the same time and are fertilized after one sexual incident, but occasionally, the two eggs will drop up to a week or two apart, and if you were to have sex just after each egg drops, then you could possibly become pregnant again. The million dollar word for this is "superfecundation".

It is possible to ovulate up until about a day after you have just ovulated which would cause twins, but you would not ovulate again till the next cycle if you were not pregnant or until after you had the baby if you were pregnant. Hormones change after ovualtion and would prevent it from happening again till your body was ready which if you were pregnant wouldn't be till at the very least 2 weeks after giving birth.

This can only occur if the two pregnancies begin within a few weeks of one another (hence some women have twins with different fathers - may happen more often than we realize as it's only noticable when children are of different races).

As stated above, once a pregnancy has implanted, hormones are released that prevent the release of additional eggs.

Impossible... She's a moron. Pregnancy prevents ovulation (the hormones that we make while pregnant), making it impossible to start a second pregnancy.
Very Best Wishes!

No. When you are pregnant, the hormones secreted by the pregnancy prevent ovulation from occuring again.

I believe more than one egg can be released at the same time. Sometimes only the one egg is impregnated by one ejaculation. A difference ejaculation may impregnate the second one (possibly another father!)
