Ok, I'm not racist, but if we elect Obama as president, him being African-American wouldn't he give the African-Americans and Hispanics the benifit of the doubt most times. Let's be real here, African-Americans and Hispanics get in the most trouble around here, I live in New Orleans and everytime, i turn on the TV, there's another black o black crime.
I'm not racist I'm Hispanic, and am with a African American myself.

Please don't judge certain races by what you see. Doing as such is one reason why there are so many nonsensical stereotypes.
Actually, I think Obama is just another politician who is protecting his own interests and the interests of other politicians, government officials, the rich, big business, etc... He doesn't care about blacks any more than does the white establishment. And, frankly, it's refreshing that I know several blacks who recognize this and refuse to support him.

I'm not picking on you... I just thought I'd clear that up just in case you're under the wrong impression regarding racism.
Anyway, I sort of agree with you... I think it might SEEM as though he would give blacks and hispanics the benefit of the doubt. But such would be nothing more than ''role playing'' on his part (just as it is with so many other politicians).

I don't think that's true at all. I think that he would be fair to all nationalities unlike some of the other candidates. New Orleans does have alot of black on black crime, which surprised us when we had lived there from 2/04-6/06. My husband is blk and wouldn't take me into New Orleans because of that issue. But right now I think a lot has to do with the fact that many out there are still living in horrible conditions, over priced housing and minimal good paying job opportunities.
I've read and heard from relatives that the illegals have really ruined New Orleans. They have their Roach Coaches all over & the parishes are banning them everywhere. It's hard for N.O. Natives to get carpentry jobs because the sorry contractors are hiring the illegals. Is that still a problem??

Hispanics already get the benifit of the doubt under the presidency of Bush and past presidents.
Speaking of Bush, he gives the benifit of the doubt to Whites, as well as other past Presidents.
No president has ever stood up for African Americans..except for maybe Clinton.
Quit with the jealousy towards Black people.

You are being racist if you'll assume Obama would be more lenient with members of his own race. The "let's be real here" as if it's common knowledge that he would be racist despite no evidence to that end, strongly suggests that you are projecting your own bigotry onto him.

i don't care who you are i don't care who you're with, so if he's president he's gonna give us special benefits because he's HALF black right, so what up with the white presidents then, do they give whites special beifits...this is so annoying man, if you don't like him don't vote for him...
