Phil Collins - In the air tonight
I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment, all my life, oh lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
Ive seen your face before my friend
But I dont know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off the grin, I know where youve been
Its all been a pack of lies
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
I can feel it in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
And Ive been waiting for this moment all my life, oh lord, oh lord
Well I remember, I remember dont worry
How could I ever forget, its the first time, the last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up, no you dont fool me
The hurt doesnt show; but the pain still grows
Its no stranger to you or me
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord...

It's a Phil Collins song called "In the air tonight". and the lyrics are "I can feel it coming in the air tonight" not "calling in the air of night". it's from the early 80s, not the 70s, don't make me feel older than I already do. lol

As so many have already said, it's Phil Collins, one of the few lead singer drummers out there. They also said it's "coming in the air," rather than calling. This bums me a bit, as I had this on a greatest hits CD, which I lost, and haven't got it replaced yet. I may not be totally accurate, but I believe the song was written by Phill Collins also, inspired by the breakup of his marriage, a great song but tragic reality, though as I said, that may not be the correct song. One of his around that time was from his divorce, I think it's this one.
I think you are correct, it's "hold on," but it's kind of hard to be sure.
