It is a tie:
I went down to Tampa to see my Red Wings come to visit a few years back. The game was really back and forth, ended at 5-4, and Dominik Hasek made one of the best saves I ever saw to save the game.
I saw Buffalo come to Toronto in 1999, the last year at the old Maple Leaf Gardens. The Leafs lost 6-3 in a fight-marred game and the Sabres' Geoff Sanderson scored a hat trick. Remember fights? Ah, now THAT was hockey.

I'll keep it short and go with 2:
1) my first hockey game. I remember steeping out and being amazes at all the seats. The ice was bigger than I had pictured. and the players were so close!
2) Game 7, Stanley Cup finals 2004. I wasnt actually in the building for the Lightnings historic win (surprising, i know. being the huge Bolts fan I am) We were out in the plaza, and I remember the finals seconds just being complete insanity. People shaking up beer cans and throwing them all over the place.

Gretzky and Lemieux playing together at the 87 Canada Cup. The two of them combining for the winning goal in games 2 and 3 in Hamilton. Pure hockey magic.

My family and friends and I went down to Washington to watch the Pens play there. In the first period we were down 4-0. We came back and Won the game in a shoot out. They were so mean to Sidney they had his pictures in the urinals and we had people swearing at us in different languages because we were SCREAMING for the pens!! It was so much fun and then we went on the subway and people swore at us more. It was just an AMAZING night!!! Plus just as an added bonus Sidney got more points than ovechkin that night and Sid was the main reason we won that game!!!

My very first game at the Montreal Forum. The bell Center is great, but it will never be the forum.
I don't really remember the whole thing, but someone ran into Roy ... and the rest is history..it was a bench clearing..I LOVE IT ...ahh I miss those
not that I liked the blood and all, but I loved the way they protected their goaltender and eachother

Easy: Watching Shanny score goal # 5 on a 5-2 win against the Chicago Blackhawks. Shanny was one of my favorite Red Wings and they always played the Irish Jig when he scored and I was psyched when that happened!

It was PeeWee hockey, but still funny. It was watching the tigers goalie get absolutely faked and drop to his knees to block a phantom shot. Immediately after which he fell onto his stomach as my cous Jakob gingerly skates up closer and taps it in goal. (Guess you had to be there?) The goalie kid was like 8 though, so can't make fun of him too much *snicker*
