I give the Angles a good chance to sweep the Red Sox just like they did the Tigers last week. They are the most underrated team in MLB and have a great chance to win it all this year. Only Vlad (18) and Mathews (13) have more than 9 homeruns and the Angles win the old fashion way with pitching, speed, and defense. The Angles have been floating under the radar all year and you can rest assured that all the other teams know how good they are and baseball fans are just slow to come around. All you hear about is Red Sox and Yankees on this site and the Angles may be better than both of them.

Angels tonight I think, although this series is so close that I wouldn't be suprised by anything. I like the Angels though because they are amazing at home (36-16, best in the majors), Saunders is still unbeaten this year and Wakefield, though he is having a great season, I think isn't as effective against teams that revolve around contact hitting as opposed to power. You can run on a knuckelballer generally, which also plays into the Angels hands.
Like I said though, it could go either way. You can never dial in a "W" when you're facing that line-up, especially with a young pitcher.
As for last night, a little of both. Manny going and getting himself tossed and Schilling's finger definately could have changed the outcome, but it doesn't change the fact that the Angels pitching had it working minus one big swing and it may not have changed anything. At any rate the effect on the outcome is all on the Sox players doing things they shouldn't have anyway. A clear win, fair and square.

OOOOOHHHHHH!!!!!! 10-4!!!!!!!
Maybe they'll sweep and finally get a little respect.

im going to say sox tonight, jsut beacuse the angels have a young guy on the mound, and wakefield is pitching for the sox. i think the angels are going to win the series :( but last night was a bit lucky. iztruis (who homered off schilling) doesnt hit homers often at all (it was only his third) and manny got ejected. they couldve used him.

Angels win 14-3, and take advantage of a key error by Dustin Pedroia that turns a potential Wakefield shutout into a blowout in the 8th.

The Angels might desire to loose this night and the following day. That way the Mariners won't look as undesirable loosing their final sequence to the crimson Sox. yet I might desire to confess, the crimson Sox are a large group this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

Wake is going to pitch good tonight, I can feel it, and I can't wait to see that knuckleball of his in X-MO. I think the sox will win tonight and the series, and I think the Yankees will continue to beat minor league caliber teams for a little while, until their lack of pitching finally catches up to them. And Abreu goes back to his preAllStar game performances.
