It all depends on the job you're applying to. A good rule of thumb is that you should dress one level better then what regular employees wear on the job. This shows dedication, interest, respect, and that you took this interview serious enough to plan. So for example- if employees normally wear jeans to work- wear khaki's and a nice shirt (either a polo or dress shirt- tie optional) If employees dress business casual - khakis and nice shirt- you should probably wear a tie. If in doubt- call ahead of time and ask. I think everyone agrees its better to over dress for something like this rather than be underdressed.

NO! you won't get the job. sadals are so unprofessional and guys feet always look gross. If you wear a suit, tie, nice polshed black shoes, a clean haircut and NO facial heir. it will give you a professional look that your going for in this situation there is no room for error. no tit for tat.
-good luck!

Depends on what kind of company your interview is with. I'm an office manager for a rafting company, and for me, it would be weird to interview someone without sandals. But if you were interviewing for Microsoft or somewhere like that, lose the sandals. : )
Good luck!

Loose the tie, wear a ball cap or cowboy hat, get a really worn out broken down pair of work boots, put a dip in you lip, and be here at 5:00am. I'll find you some work.

Generally some jobs do not even allow open toe anythings at their place of business. I would find out the dress code and then make my decision. You dont wanna miss out on a oppurtunity because you were not informed.
