I'd send a food basket with lots of fruit and treats in it as well as a game if he's into video games it will give him nutrition and the game will give him something to do. If he can't play a video game get him a book on something he's interested in or a Maxim magazine there a good read even for women.
Sorry your boyfriend is sick and I hope he get well soon and your a great girlfriend to care enough to ask.

Oh, the possibilities are endless. Think of "comfort" gifts...magazines, some soda and munchies, and especially one of those long-arm "grabbers" so that he can reach things without getting out of the bed.

Make him some coupons for things like a special meal served in bed, backrub, total TV control for a day where he watches nothing but what he wants to watch, etc.

When my husband had hernia surgery, I went out and bought the naughtiest black lace lingerie I could find. When he opened it up, I told him that the OTHER half of that present would be given to him once he healed...it really gave him something to look forward to!!

Best of luck!
