You should get an Xray. It's hard to imagine that there are no breaks considering your pain and the nature of the injury. But usually a break comes with bruising and swelling. The reason is that bones produce blood cells, so when the bone breaks, the blood leaks out causing a bruise. However, since the bones in the hand are so tiny, it may be that there isn't much blood in them to cause the bruise.
You also find that a fracture causes point tenderness, meaning a specific place hurts more than anywhere else...and this is where the break is.
You also need to consider your circulation, motion, and sensation in the extremities beyond the area...meaning your fingers. Mixed in with connective tissues and bones are NERVES. A fracture can press on and damage them. Get this looked at immediately so you don't have permanent damage to your hands.
The bad news is that if you have a 2 week old fracture, any nerve damage is probably done. And there may have been some bad healing already in the area. It may need to be rebroken and reset properly.

Yes, hairline fractures cause little or no swelling. If it does swell, it could be sprained. Keep ice on it for a week or so to see if this helps, and take Motrin or some other pain reliever to control the pain. Also, let it rest - stop punching things for awhile.

I had that once. Whenever I turned my left wrist to the left or moved my hand back, there was a sharp pain. It bugged me like crazy. I'd say wait for another week or so to see what happens, because it might go away like mine did. But if it doesn't, go to your doctor and have him look at it.

By all means, see a physician. You could have broken any of a number of bones in your hand or wrist, and it may require treatment to prevent permanent disability. Visible bruising and swelling is not always noted in such injuries.

Please go see your doctor as soon as possable. I broke my foot once, didn't hurt to bad, doc said it was a bad sprain, but a month or so, it was said to have been broken. By that time it had started to heal and was too late then.
