I have a bunch of experience working in this field also in resturants. I worked at a bunch of places on Bourbon St. in New Orleans also at a 5star 5 diamond hotel. So im use to high pace places. My question to you is this: How do i get a job working as a cocktail server in vegas. I heard its a hard filed to get into. Im moving in 8months please help me. Any suggestion will do.Thanks on advance

You might end up starting out at one of the smaller off-strip casinos. DO NOT work for one of the "genteman's clubs" (aka - strip clubs) if you want to work for one of the hotels on the Strip. As soon as they see on your resume that you've worked in one of those places, they toss it. They won't hire anyone who hasn't worked in Vegas before, nor will the hire anyone who's worked in a strip club.

with the experience u have u should have no problem being a cocktal waitress in vegas which by the way probably pays 3 times as much as u would get in New Orleans the vegas times always has pleny or openings for cocktail servers get it while the getting is good

go on line find all restaurants & Bars in the Las Vagus area and submit if possible your Resume to their website if they have one and wait or you can go to a news stand find a Las Vagas news paper scour the "Want Ads" and send your resume the old fashioned way .......US Mail good luck
