most people in high places are told what to say, most presidents are told what to say.

plus it's live tv, so there aren't any "outtakes"

better yet, why so many southern presidents?
-whenever the uk makes fun of americans they always use a southern accent. lol

Who cares if a President is good at public speaking??? I happen to think that it shows that he is a real person and is not just putting on an act. He's realistic and doesn't always say things that people want to hear, but he is just being real about things and I admire that about him. No President is going to be perfect, why are people so freaking critical about things that don't even matter. If he was a better public speaker would it really make a difference on how you feel about him???You people really piss me off with your stupid criticisms. Why don't you talk about things that really matter in our country.

While I am not a fan of our President, he is not paid to be a great public speaker. In fact he is kind of refreshing to me. He talks like the majority of Americans would if we were put in the spot light. That is better than an actor with his stupid smile and phony speeches.

HE is feed his lines, with running a country and a family and all the other tasks his must do a day i don't think he has time to write, and memorize a speech. just my opinion.
he is a very caring and wonderful man. he has made mistakes but so have I haven't you? why must everyone pick him apart. i believe he has done his very best and done what he believes is the very best for our country his country. when the weight of the world is on someones shoulders im sure its hard to always make the perfect choice especially when your vice president with holds info.

I think for the most part it is a lack of education, he has a redneck mentality, "Bring em on" he is also very stubborn and I really don't think he cares what he says whether its right or wrong.

He's usually reading them from a teleprompter who from notes. If your objective, you will notice that he does much better when he's just talking to people without a written speech. It's not as easy as it looks to give a speech from notes or reading from a teleprompter and some people just don't develop that skill. That doesn't have anything to do with intelligence or fear.

Obviously, you are not being objective, as I had suspected. All of these cannot be true since many are nonsense and contradictory.

How about I give you his phone number and you call him and ask him yourself or are you too dumb to make a phone call? I do have his number if you'd like it 202-456-1414 now let's see just how brave you are.

Personally, I think you want a used car salesman for a president. They can speak very well and they can also talk an Eskimo into buying a freezer.

Someone is feeding him his lines sometimes, either by teleprompter or radio. At other times he speaks off the cuff. He stumbles in either case because he is not very bright, not a very good reader, and not a fluent speaker.

That is what happens when you become a "Puppet on a String".
Apparently he has gotten his "Shrub" trimmed.
