who's your favorite drummer? both in terms of energy and technical ability. I think Travis Barker from blink is overrated, but you might think differently.

No one can live up to Bonham of zeppelin, yeah there have been many good drummers ex. Keith Moon, Neil Peart, Danny Carey, but i dont think anyone can really live up to Bonham he was just so incredibly talented and he just had that creative aspect that put him over the top.

Favorite... not the best... but my favorite would be Eric Carr (RIP) of Kiss. Not only did he lay a solid foundation for all the songs, he also hit the hell out of the drums, and he didn't use a lot of elaborate fills that took away from or overshadowed the rest of the music.
