I'm puzzled as well???...Any of these sky fairy superstitions are products of right wing hallucinations from Islam to christianity. They have been, are, and will be promoted and supported by the repressing and depressing conservatives and their ideologies of enslaving society into the prisons of fundamentalism.
Islam is a product of right wing middle eastern culture just as all religion is based on right wing theocratic nonsense. I don't care if they hop around a boiling cauldron all night but I can't see where they get this moronic idea about Liberals supporting any religion.

tell me a college that's not overpopulated by using liberal instructors. I spent maximum of my time in political technological know-how attempting to state a view factor that differed from the lib instructor (who could not justify her view logically) and replaced into finally informed to bypass away the class. I quickly left the faculty while my GI bill money (the only i replaced into going there first of all) ended and that i found out a college degree isn't mandatory for a reliable job. I have not got any college degree and characteristic been employed in a reliable paying job for extra beneficial than 25 years. I honestly have by no potential been laid off and by no potential paid any union dues. I evaluate myself to be a Constitutional Conservative politically.

Its that "If you aren't with us, you're against us" mentality. I believe there are better ways to fight terrorism than blowing up entire countries to kill a few terrorists, although I did agree with the fight in Afghanistan. I also find it totally unpatriotic to give up our Constitutional rights in this fight on terror.
Demanding warrants and oversight of our government while they are using surviellance is not siding with the terrorists. I wish they would remember that Hillary could be our next dictator. If that doesn't persuade these nuts to want some oversight, I don't know what will, knowing how they feel about her.

I'm a liberal and I don't think that about Islam. It's a religion like any other and they have the right to worship however they choose. People don't realize that very few Muslims are the radicals that are portrayed in the media. Most are like any one of us that just want to live their lives in peace. People need to learn that "Muslim" and "Terrorist" are COMPLETELY different.

I think the concept is meant to say that certain liberals are apologists for the terrorists who do things in the name of Islam.
My oldest sister, who is an ex-hippie, believes we 'deserved' 9/11. What a disgusting thought.
I guess what I have a problem with is the notion that some schools have to include teaching about Islam (pretend to be a Muslim week - it's real) but are precluded from teaching about the majority faith in our country.
The fact that in Arab culture (many of whom are muslims), a woman can be put to death after being raped is a sad testimony for that culture. And, we're supposed to just accept it, according to the idea of 'diversity' and social relativism (meaning, it's OK for you to do but no for me to do) rather than take a stand against it.
So, watered down, the phrase "liberals love Islam" isn't complete, but, it's not a stretch either.

Not all Muslims are radical. I agree that ISLAM is peaceful but the radicals are not.
You can't logically generalize that all "liberals love Islam."

Too many, that's for sure. When someone posts something like that I know right away they are just flamers, useless to anyone who is serious about politics. There are flamers on both sides, the far right and far left, in this forum. Their whole schtick is name calling. lies and exaggeration. It's what floats their boat, for whatever reason.

I am not a nutcase, but it is rather clear by the actions of the majority of liberals that they do support Islam over and above their own religions and the freedoms provided in this country.
And your quote from Bush is taken totally out of context. He completed the thought by saying the religion of peace needs to start acting like they are the religion of peace, to paraphrase.
Oh hey big mama, Cat Stevens also openly sought out an infidel of Islam, Saddam Rushki, and called for his death. When asked if Stevens would kill him, Stevens answered that it was his obligation.
