Really it's both. Nasty people eventually start to seem ugly and coarse if they have poor manners or personality. If one is stupid, a set of pretty eyes will begin to look vacant. Think of an attractive person you really dislike.. over time, don't they become kind of ugly to you?
Looks hook attention but personality reels people in. You simply can't be a beautiful person with a miserable personality. People will avoid a bad personality because they won't be able to stand being around them. So pretty or not, a rude, stupid, bad personality will eventually wind up alone.
That being said, a plain person can always look incredible when you discover a gem inside. My biggest crush once was a homely, skinny little dude. But the more I got to know the person inside, the more beautiful his face was to me. Eventually, just seeing him would make me start to drool. And I swear to God it beautified him physically. I couldn't stop looking at him and thinking how hot he was.

In the very first look no one can know one's internal personality...so at that time beauty counts...If she is having a good personality it adds to her beauty...Some people after a looong aquintance with ladies begin to like them because they are impressed by their internal personality.
whether it is a man or a woman beauty counts first and then comes internal beauty if it is there

i think facial beauty is what u see first then u tend to get bored if she is not intelligent
at the same time u dnt tend to look at a girl who is not pretty but has a loota brains, by not pretty i mean repulsive
i guess a bit of first and a lot of the second is required

now a days people are running for a beautiful girl or lady but in my opinion a beautiful lady without any personality is useless.so their should be personality.
if you have very good personality but the look then also people will praise you for your personality.
