A leveret is actually a baby hare. Hares nest under bushes above ground and birth babies that have a full coat of hair and eyes open and can walk/hop. Wild Rabbits nest below ground in nests called warrens. Their young are called Kits plural or kit for one. Domestic rabbits typically kindle (birth) in a nest box, their young is also called kits. Rabbits birth babies that have their eyes/ears closed and have only a very fine velvet for hair and are completely helpless, their true rabbit fur does not begin to come in until the second week at which time they begin to open their eyes.

you call them kits and they live in burrows in the wild underground the mom has to pull out some of her chest fur to keep them warm. But if you have a rabbit with babies then you should buy a baby bunny box.

Baby rabbits are called bunnies and they live in a nest made by the mother with hair from her dewlap and other materials she could find. In the wild they would live in a burrow or warren in captivity they nest in their hutches, or cage.

They are called kittens or "kits" for short. They live in holes that they dig into the ground or sometimes they will hide in a log or thick brush or briars or a field with tall grass, etc.
