The hush story line put on to a feature film would be simply incredible. As well, so would the death of Robin and a Red Hood movie. Come to think of it, the Long Halloween would be good too ... and so would JLA identity crises ...man, just too many great stories to choose from. Is it any wonder that the best movies these days seem to come from the ideas of the best writers of comics?!

I love Jason Todd as a character, but I don't think it would translate well to the big screen. Or even the little screen, really. For one, his "resurrection" would be difficult to explain in a contained movie. To keep true to the origin, Infinite Crisis would have to be touched on - so we know that much would be changed. So...how could it have happened?
I think the Death In The Family storyline is a bit...well...terrible. It killed Jason Todd - which needed to happen - but as a story, it's just not that great. I don't think it really needs to be told.
I love Jason Todd. I love the Red Hood. But it wouldn't work. And I'd rather just stick with the medium he's in now rather than see a half-assed version brought to life.

I think a plot like that would confuse the heck out of the viewer. Any good superhero film needs to, in my opinion, keep the concept as close to the traditional 'stories' we know. But if you want to see a good director for the job, you should check out the "fake" film trailer for "Grayson" a film (that was never made) about Robin who avenges Batman's death. You can probably find it on youtube.

That would be kind of gay. Why would they fight? Did I miss something in the comics?
