Ok. I'm trying to get divorced. My ex lied on our marriage license about their madin name, so we wouldn't have to show a death cer. Since she lied are we even legaly married?

got married in va. Ex wife been married b4. used married name so wouldnt have to provide a marriage license. Since madin name not used are we still married?

a death certificate for what ? I dont understand this question you need to re word it so that folks can understand what you are asking .

Any name that she/he has had prior to your marriage would be considered legal. Don't be surprised if when she gets married the next time that she/he uses your last name on the paper work.
