I wish that you would post this every time someone asks that stupid question.
So far search results are up to 22,410 similar questions.
Everyone has an opinion on every subject. One could ask: Do you have an opinion on UFO's? 22,000 times and you still wouldn't get anywhere with the question. It's about the same with 'time travel' and 'did we land on the Moon' and lately the 'Mars as big as the Moon' questions.
Here's another one you can post...'How many times will people keep asking the same questions over and over before they realise that a search bar exists?'. I'd love to see that one.
Maybe have yahoo create a seperate opinion section similar to how a newspaper has an editorial/opinion page. Maybe that will keep them out of here. Opinions are like hemorroids- sooner or later every...umm...person...gets one.

Since you don't know me for you to believe that I believe Aliens are out there would be ludicrous. So know I don't believe you believe I believe Aliens are out there, but I do believe that you believe that you can generate a mangle Abbot and Costello routine by asking a question like that.

Yes. Here's why: For life to exist you need a certain narrow set of conditions. You need a decent planet, in a decent orbit, near a decent star, and so on. It like if you have boiling water and need a bubble a certain size. With zillions of bubbles (stars) in the universe it seems like plenty of them would be just right.
