It is not all his fault, although i think he is scum. You chose your actions, and this is the consequence. You are not a victim here. If you dont like the results of your actions, then change the actions to get better results.

Guys like that give the good ones a bad rep. Sleeping with someone is like smelling the roses. You got to make sure you are gonna like it before you put it in a vase. If he is being that way with you and cant see the thick through the thin, then you are better off with out him. Revenge is never having to say you are sorry. Consider it a life lesson, close this chapter and create a new one with someone that shares the compassion that you do.

There are men and women who have such low self-esteem that they feel they need to raise it by lowering the esteem of others (i.e., what this jerk did to you). Be thankful that you are not with thise guy, and hope that his wife is smart enough to get out soon (since he's probably tromping all over her feelings as well).
Also, in the future, you may want to wait longer before having sex (to ensure that the man is as invested in having a relationship as you are). This will not prevent you from getting "burned" (there is no such thing as a "sure thing"), but it may help reduce the chances somewhat.
Good luck, and I hope things work out better for you in the future!!

Oh c'mon... Just because one guy was an a**hole and decided to humiliate you, doesn't mean that all men are a**holes. An amount of time that it takes you to get to the "bed" part has nothing to do with how the guy will treat you; the way the guy acts has everything to do with what kind of person he is. If he's a jerk, he'll FIND a way to disrespect you, even if you never get to bed with him at all.

Every man isn't like that. I've had long relationships with folks I've slept with rather early in the relationship and had one crash and burn when we didn't connect that way at all during the relationship. He probably fully intended to marry her regardless of what happened with you and is using this against you now to make you feel bad. Buck up, every man isn't a jackass.

Well, of course, even as a man I can identify him as a pig.
But you should learn that (1) screwing married men is stupid and (2) having sex outside a long, committed (preferably married) relationship usually brings pain, little b*stards running around the house and other disasters.
BTW...you were screwing a married man? Where do you get off being critical?

Your screen name suggests that this is a cultural question. Every "traditional" culture I know anything about shares these beliefs. Since they are deeply ingrained beliefs, there is nothing whatever to do about the situation. Move on, forget the guy, and be wiser next time.

He is a butt. You are better off without him. Next time someone asks you to sleep with you tell them no till you know it's the real thing.

Any man in a rush to sleep with you is no good. If he really respects you, then he'll respect your decision to wait.
