Don't forget the s chip/champ bill they passed, (children's health insurance), and the stolen vote, all in the name of children and agriculture.
They snuck/ sneaked in free medical coverage for illegals and food stamps and housing for them also.

Spare us the faux indignation. In August 2005, the Republican dominated Congress passed (412 to 8 in the House; 91 to 4 in the Senate) a $286.4 Billion dollar highway bill that set the record for pork-barrel spending —$24 billion for 6,376 pet projects covering almost every congressional district in the nation. The 1,752 page-long bill wasn't made public until just before it was brought to a vote.
Are the Democrats really looking out for the American people? Barely, but certainly more so than the Republican Party. If anything, the Democratic Party is guilty of being insanely naïve. However, that is preferable to the pathological insanity of the current Administration and the Republican Party.

NO WAY, I was in NYC and Hellery Clinton was already talking about raising taxes to help the "undocumented workers" get better medical treatment
Here we have invaders and the democraps are talking about giving away the country to these non tax paying leaches and we should foot the bill.
Even that idiot Nancy Pelosi said "Americans have to much money".
We had enough tax and spend with these folks in the mean time the Clinton's made millions writing books on their memoirs and yet when they had to answer questions re white water and looting the White house and Wild Bills sexcapades they both said we cant recollect.
The Clinton's are known for selective amnesia and look at how much money the other democraps have as they say they are out to help the working class as they gave the country away and gave work to other countries

Of course they had no plans of cleaning up Congress. After all they have to get re-elected by the people in their district. And the people in each district expect that their congressperson is going to bring the pork home.
However, no matter how you look at it, the pork spending in this years budget is peanuts compared to the 15,000 earmarks for $25 billion dollars in the 2006 GOP-controlled Congressional budget.

As with all liberals, the most common solution is to throw money at the problem...
The thing I find most interesting is the common stereotype about Republicans "having all the money". Baloney! Look at a US map and mark out the "blue" states and the "red" states. Now, tell me which states are home to the richest Americans? The answer: those states on the east and west coast, the BLUE STATES!!!!!!
Republicans, most anyway...have the "average American" in mind, while the Democrats fill the airwaves with liberal propoganda, like the one I just debunked. I'm sick and tired of the Ted Kennedys and Al Gores of this world... What's even more funny is that people take them seriously! I find it absolutely mind-boggling how such hypocrites could call the current administration "corrupt" when the liberals that are most vocal about their opposition are the ones that are most corrupt! Look at Ted Kennedy and Chappaquiddick... Al Gore and this "global warming" crap... John Kerry and Swiftboat... Robert Byrd (President Pro Tempore) and his former membership in the KKK... Hillary Clinton's outspoken defense of the US Communist Party and the Black Panthers... Bill Clinton's...yeah...
Need I say more? I could go all day...

Yes they are starting to worry that we will show up to the voting booth. We maybe mad at Republicans for going on a spending spree, but the Dems are reminding us of how bad they are.

I knew this would happen...along with all of the witch-hunt ethics investigations. I was one who let it happen...even though I hate it. Be honest, think back to 1994...what did the Republicans promise to do, and what did they actually do? They just turned into Democrats Lite. So, last election cycle, me and many like me (people who hate frivolous government spending) voted third party or (gasp!!!) stayed home and let the Dems win a term...a wake up call to the Republicans to get to their roots, and a reminder to everyone else why they should never vote Democrat.

So, according to that logic, NO politician who votes for pork is looking out for us. That would be ALL of them. Pork is nothing new...you just never heard about it when the GOP rubber stamped every one of Bush's liberal spending bills, creating a huge deficit, and a failing economy. But blame the dems for it, if you want. That way you can continue to vote for liberals, and still think they are looking out for conservatives. And the politicians can continue to fool you into believing that dems and reps are different from each other...one continually altruistic, and one continually the bad guy. It keeps things simple enough for the mindless masses.

They care more for the country as a whole - which is all the majority of Americans really care about.
All of that republican "take dollars back from the government and put them back in your pocket" rhetoric has played through to its end - failed FEMA, crumbling infrastructure, uninspected goods getting through to consumers...
The "I got mine and I'm keeping it" mentality is fortunately, only held by a shrinking few.
