Kamori is an okay name.
I like: Amira, Eniah, Corrina, Jenise, Jayla, Janae, Jaylin, Kaiya (Ki-ya), Jael, Tyra, Naeema/Naima, Imani, Jasmine, Ciara, Alana, Alexis
* Let us know if you like any of the names...
EDIT: I knew exactly what you meant w/ your question~ I hate when people try to analyze things~ this question is in no form or fashion racist- come on people!! Had someone asked "what are some good names for a Hispanic or Italian baby", the term "racist" would not have even been mentioned. She's looking for a typical African American name-- she specified "black baby" because she typically likes African American names~ that's what she likes, people!!~ there's nothing wrong w/ that!! Sheesh!!
EDIT: lol~ my point exactly~ someone just asked a question on Yahoo Answers about a "Hispanic name for a baby" and an "Italian name for a baby"-- where are the comments about "race doesn't matter, it's racist, don't give your baby a Hispanic/Italian name, etc??" No where to be found~ my point exactly.....so pathetic...

Wouldn't if be wonderful if we could get by without "naming" children, and wait until they are old enough to be called something they chose. I bet nearly all babes would call themselves something different to what the parents had wanted. In a multicultural society names could bridge some gaps, so don't just think of 'ethnic' names because that reinforces divides - be true to heritage by including family names within complete names. Besides which on job applications etc. it is not always useful to be judged immediately by a given name (sad but true).

If these are the names you like then use them it is your baby so there for your choice of name . Do they have a special meanings . I like to give my children names which I choose because they are special or for the meaning. A lot of names used in our extended family are used several times and in honour of a parent grand parent or great grandparent and some are named after the midwife who delivered them. So dont worry about small minded people who want to be so PC they go overboard. .

I often wonder if having a name that immediately identifies ones ethnic background is really a good idea. Also, I have a name that I have had to spell out every time someone wrote it. I don't know about anyone else whose had this problem, but I've gotten very tired of it. Sometimes we name our kids without thinking of the impact it might have on them later. I admit I cannot pronounce your potential names, however I am sure they sound beautiful. Good luck with whatever you decide and congratulations

This is something that in unique to you, so as many people will like your names there will be people that don't.
I normally have a couple of names from both sex and choose within a couple of days of the baby being born. You need to see them first really.
Good Luck

The names you've chose seem very Hawaiian, and are not very gender specific, if that's what you want. Some names I like, are:
g- Mara, Joy, Kendra and Jacinta
b- Anthony, Dario, Marco and James (common, but a classic)

i think of i'm greater shocked with the aid of a number of the solutions on your question. You and your substantial different might desire to make certain on a attractiveness on your baby. i do no longer think of names might nicely be categorized into races yet i think of whats greater significant than the sound of a attractiveness is the meaning of the call. there isn't any use naming your baby with a 'sturdy sounding' call yet isn't significant. and you will possibly desire to no longer might desire to seek for a 'lovable black infant boy' call purely on account which you youngster would be blended race - the race of your baby shouldn't might desire to be the finding out element. call him as a guy or woman - what targets and hopes do you spot on your baby? How do you desire your baby to be perceived and presented to the worldwide?- that would desire to be the finding out element. remember your baby will stay as much as his call.
