John Terry, the "old fashioned English CB" is dead and should not be lauded as a hero in modern football, football has moved on. When you consider him compared to the likes of Maldini, Cannavaro, Nesta, Desailly etc he pales into insignificance yet the commentators continue to label him as world class.

Survey Says...David Beckham!!! He looks good on magazines, and his highlights shots are good back in his younger days with Man U...but since he went to Madrid...he sucked ***! He states he is healthy and fit, but when was the last time you seen him play a full game??? He is for show, thats it..and folks will realize this real soon...thats why Beckhem is scared to play in the USA...because folks expect him to score and provided amazing highlights...Im inclined to say Beckham will score maybe 4 goals the whole year...! It all hype to boost up American soccer, and its working...but for how long...give it a month, and weait for him to return to England, in where, he will get hurt, and force to miss the rest of the season...this is what my Beckham Crystal ball is saying!

I think Jermain Defoe is so overrated. What's his England scoring record? Something like 2 goals in 21 caps. Something is wrong. He isnt that good for Tottenham either. Either him, Andy " Would be better as an actor" Johnson or James Beattie.

my gut says becks, but its not that hes a bad player, its the hype from America now and the British press from his early days.

As far as player expectations go, Peter Crouch and Frank Lampard (only on the national level) have yet to meet their hype.

No, Owen is pure qulaity on the rare occasions that he is fit. Without doubt the most over rated English player in football is Andy 'Ref! Ref! Penalty!!!' Johnson.
