I think the Pats have another 2 or 3 years left until the bandwagon jumpers will need ot find a new team. It's amazing how many less Cowboys attire I see worn now than during the 90's. Saw much more Steelers fans during the 80's. And I seem to recall quite a few Vikings and Raiders fans in the 70's (yes I'm old). Where do they all go?
I think it's just a bunch of people with low self-esteem who feel better about themselves by being associated with a winner. Very sad but true. I see the same thing with Notre Lame fans - just weak little people who have to go with the crowd.
Of course I'm just talking about those who have no real connection with a team.

Getting old? They have one of the best young defensive lines out there. One of the best young offensive lines out there. The majority of the defensive backs who play are young. The key linebackers are in their early thirties. Thomas should be in his prime, don't ever count out Bruschi and Vrabel. The key with the Pats is their depth. We can rotate Seau, Brown, and all the above mentioned to save their gas. With the Pat's system, these guys can play a couple more years. The reason our defense was down in that game against the colts, was NOT because of them being old, but because they were fighting the flu, which was going thru the whole team. Half of them were getting intravenous on the sidelines. Take your shots now colt fans...because when we meet on 11/4, you will see how old this team really is....when we whoop your butt.

All it takes is ONE bad season, so months, really. You'll see people that latch on to a team that goes to the playoffs, then when they fall the next season, those people are in the wind and act like they've never heard of that team.
Cheers!

When the Patriots have a really bad season, that is when people will jump off the bandwagon. Yes they are getting old. Look at their linebackers. They have almost 60 years of experience between them.

You will have to wait until after this season to ask the Pats fans that jumped on recently. You will be shocked to see how many of them are gone after watching the team go belly up this year.

until the teams starts to lose. Not long. I've known people that change teams every few months.
