Of course! Torn or half ripped's flag is definitely disrespectful. Faded I think not. Unpatriotic, very subjective because some people prefer to keep it in their heart and not by showing it through displaying the flag.

i think the thought that counts...sudirman too invented a national flag shirt for himself...so wat does that mean...was he disrespectful...he's the one that made 'tanggal 21' a famous song..was he unpatriotic? ...torn or half ripped or faded maybe due to the weather...no point you put up a nice new clean flaf and then when you are in Korea or other country you sing the 'Negaraku' as 'Negarakuku'...

I got 10 thumbs down last time for making this comment, but I wholeheartedly agree...
Do they even know that it is offensive to have the national (any) flag touching the floor? I've seen Jalur Gemilangs on the roadside and Malaysians don't even care to pick them up. Shame... shame...

I know. But you should check on some federal and gov building that raise Malaysian flags for years without replacing them that you thought the flags wasn't Malaysian. Faded and torn. Memalukan sungguh...

Yes I did know that, and it bothers me when people do it. We have a local TV channel that will take old flags and dispose of them properly.
