If both are operating according to the Bible's principles of love, it is possible. Read in the Bible I Corinthians 13 "The Love Chapter" where it says love is patient and kind and seeks not its own way at the expense of others. It isn't boastful or proud and always believes in the positive. This love is such that it will gladly give up its own life to save the life of another. It says of faith, hope and love that the greatest is love. It is this kind of love that has kept my wife and I married for over 29 years. If everyone had it, the divorce rate wouldn't be so high. This kind of love takes effort and commitment from both partners for it to be successful. My wife and I from the very beginning tried to keep this kind of love in our lives. It developed to the point that we could even tell what the other was thinking by just looking and many times we have said the same thing at the same time. The problem is that most couples only want the sex part with its instant gratification, without working on the long term true love part and therefore their relationship suffers.

Men and women have emotions...since Nature wired us differently we may feel those things a bit differently. Any given emotion doesn't feel the same to all men or all women, so why would it feel the same between men and women?

Yes but we don't show it as well as you do. That's why you can't tell if we relay love you or just want the other. Be careful and always have a little doubt.
