Barring a major gaffe by the ultimate Democratic nominee or a slew of Democratic congressmen taking Congressional Pages on "outings" there will be a Democratic President.
That's not to say that it's a good thing but the GOP has gone to great lengths to hobble itself politically as of late and so far has done itself no favors with the motley crew of candidates running.
Frankly, the only way to get a Republican in the White house would be to nominate someone who resonates with the centrists of America that has a sense of humor that doesn't have the political and social baggage of a Giuliani or McCain.

Well the public supports the democrats more right now, but because of the stupid electoral college, the republicans actually have 2 more safe/leaning votes than democrats. There are 33 tossup points and Ohio is 20 of them. It's up to Ohio who gets the white house. The website of my info is listed below.

I think the next president will be someone who actually has conservative values unlike that liberal in conservative clothing G.W. Bush and his evil puppeteer Dick Cheney. Now, I am sure that a lot of people are wondering why a conservative would smear these people. They don't represent true conservatism and for that matter, neither does most of the Republican party anymore. I understand that the vast majority of Americans are far more centrist than polarized, but still, if you can't represent your own values, how do you expect to hold the party faith-full? That applies to the Democrats as well.

It is really going to depend on who is running. I don't see middle America voting for Clinton or Obama. They were not wise in in their stance on illegal immigration. They misjudged the people's reaction. Iraq is a mess and they have offered no real plan to get out. If the vote was held to day I think Giuliani would win even thought he would not get my vote. I think in the coming months the current leaders will fall and the people will get a different choice. I also think that the Congressional election was a vote against instead of a vote for and if they are not careful it will turn around without much effort on the Republican party.

Nader is endorsing Ron Paul (or a minimum of has gleaming words for him). Perot replaced into a hundred% superb suited approximately NAFTA, so people who low value an "fool" like him ... i will shop thinking you're speaking approximately your self. while Nader and Perot ran, grassroots have been ok, yet no longer linked like Ron Paul's campaign is. Why? it extremely is linked by potential of a plenty speedier medium stated as the internet, you have have been given heard of it, all of us is on it at the instant. Howard Dean did no longer have a message as stable, and the internet replaced into no longer as interactive or as conventional. With instantaneous social networking websites like fb, meetup, myspace, even youtube, issues are extremely coordinated. actually, Ron Paul supporters was accused of making use of distinctive identities from their momma's basements. i do no longer understand how he made that 4.3million in an afternoon if somebody nonetheless thinks that. This internet can injury a candidate in hundreds of thousands of things; case in point, George Allen, and his macaca video. He replaced into slated to run for president this time around, and now he's long previous. Even Hillary can not administration the contents of youtube, and all the turn flops she has achieved. the internet could additionally carry strategies a pair of candidate this is plenty greater independent than earlier, with media and print. Sorry you may not see the possibilities and optimism, and easily concentration on the way issues have been. ultimately, Dr. Ron Paul (a 10 term Republican Congressman) isn't working as an autonomous, so the completed question is only yet another baseless attack. he's working to win, and that i'm doing my area to make confident that happens. stable success such as your candidate, I did my examine, how approximately you?

Republican. And "Deep Thought"'s last paragraph seemed to describe Mitt Romney to a 'T'.
Anyway, the Dems already control the House and Senate. Having a GOP at the helm will help keep the balance. We need such stability.

*Personally, I'm hoping for Ron Paul.
Realistically, the next president will probably be more moderate, possibly even independent if given a choice. With the failure of the Republicans in the Executive and the failure of the Democrats in the Legislative, I find partisan politics and extremism losing touch with the people of the USA.

In the name of Allah, ever benevolent, most merciful, I hope a republican wins. I am a Muslim, and I don't want a democrat in for the simple fact that their views clash very much with my religious beliefs. However, I don't want someone who lies about my religion (like Ann Coulter does) to win either.
