I live about a 35 minute walk from the petstore and i wanna carry my fish home in the little bags they put them in. They are going to be 3 cory cats - will they be ok in the bags for 35 mins? Also the temp is about 74 today.

I would assume they will be okay, I got 2 ottos before and they had an 1hr drive home on a bumpy rode. What I would do is bring a paper bag to put the fish bag in therefore they aren't as stressed out with all the light.
Hope This Helps!!!

Carry them in a small Styrofoam box. Like the wholesalers use to ship them.

I'm guessing their going to be O.K. Because we moved in the summer and about 3hrs drive and my fishes survived. If you are really worried, call pet store before you leave home.

Keep them in the dark and the bag in the shade of your body, they will be fine.

They should be fine. Just don't let the sun beam on them.
