If I see someone begging to be picked as best answer I deliberately pick someone else. I hate that.

Corona,
any teacher I've ever had has picked the student slumped down in thier desk praying, don't pick me don't pick me...lol. It was usually me in school. It's like teachers have a radar that zooms in on the only person in the class that doesn't know the answer. LOL.

I pick the person who deserves it. Sometimes when the answers are similar, i try to see who needs the points more. I always try to be fair. I rather give someone 10 points for a great answer that helped me then someone that is just asking for it. People on here are asking for help, and most people think it's a joke. Have a great day....

No one ever asked me that. I would pick c, it doesn't affect my decision. I only pick people best answer if they answer my question and have the most accurate answer and have the best reasons for chosing that answer. Like in polls and surveys, if i for example ask, if you want to be someone for a week who would you be? I would choose the person as best answer if they say why they want to be that person. I chose this person as best answer. The answer should have something that will also benefit others. If it involves in taking someone's cancer pain onto themselves for a week i chose them and i will just wish them the best of luck. A lot of humanity and love is put in there. Have a nice day!

Anyone that actually takes the time to say "Pick me for best answer" couldn't really have the best answer. They are in it for the attention/points, which on here shouldn't matter because it's not like they send you a check for multiple best answers anyway. It's like the kid in class that raises his hand when the teacher asks a question and he is waving his arm all around hopping up and down in the chair....any teacher I have ever had has always picked the quiet kids that calmly have raised their hands....then it's so funny to watch the "begging" kid put his hand down and say "oh man!"...lol

NO, because if everyone started doing that, and give the best answer to the person that says, "pick me" then no one would be willing to give good answers. some people already don't give good answers, so it's better to pick the best through looking at the quality of the answer.

true they probably know their answer is not that good and therefore feel the need to beg. if someone knows that they answred the best they could they would be confident that it will help someone regardless

No I also hate that, you should feel confident enough in your knowledge and the honesty of your answer not to have to beg.
