My guess for the building to building levitation would be to use tiny cables, probably made of carbon fibers. Such cables do exist and david copperfield use them for his stage levitation.

As for chris angel's levitation, i suspected that they put two parallel cables and he just move on these cables. That explains why he only held his arms open and his entire body stays still, he doesn't flies around like superman, the slow speed his going.

If you can imagin two parallel cables attach to somewhere below his each arms, there's nothing difficult about imagining him being towed from one rooftop to another.

The cables span from one rooftop to another, its horizontal. That's why he can only move horizontally. In david copperfield's case, he has a stage and the cable is vertically, so he can move up and down freely, and much more quickly.

The basic concept here is Criss is being towed from one rooftop to another.

like creating a card upward push out of a deck.. there could also be one wherein you'll throw the cardboard and feature it spin in your finger... all of them take train and a shuttle to a magic retailer
