There had been an election in 2005 for Parliament and the leading party although it retained power has it with a much smaller majority and this was due to the fact that The Poodle was in charge when a myriad of scandals such as "cash for honors" which was an allegation that large secret loans had been made to the Labor Party before the 2005 general election, and that some lenders had subsequently been nominated for peerages i.e titles such as Lord, Viscount etc. as well as the unpopular war in Iraq- a war that had not been supported by the British people from the very beginning. 11 years ago he went for a meal with Tony Blair to discuss who would be the next Labour PM. During the evening he went to the toilet and was unable to open the toilet door - Tony wouldn't let him out until he promised that Tony could be Prime Minister first, and then Gordon after.

Tony has done 10 years in the office and has finally let Gordon have a go.

you're actually not on my own and final night on question Time, David Milliband replaced into confronted along with his very own words uttered on the coach some months in the past, wherein he defined Gordon as a piss undesirable PM (those are actually not his genuine words, yet what he pronounced back then quantities to plenty the comparable element). human beings are turning faraway from Labour of their hundreds of thousands. I might desire to think of that the final interior of sight elections plus the London assembly election and a byelection gained by potential of the Tories for the 1st time in view that 1982 is evidence valuable that Gordin Brine is the incorrect guy for the pastime of PM. human beings are unlikely to alter their minds approximately Labour and any style of recent management conflict interior of Labour will only deliver out the sign that they are in a panic. lots of the MPs on the back-benches of the Labour element interior the Commons have very slender majorities of possibly only a pair of thousand or so. A swing of only some % against them will see them on the skids and out of place of work. can not wait till 2010.

No election. I remember when the Conservatives changed Prime Minister (they have done so when in power) Labour always scream for an election. it is one set of principals for the party in power and one for the opposition.

There WAS an election: The Labour Party voted to have him as their new leader when Blair the Poodle stepped down. The people do not elect the Prime Minister. They elect his party. The party elects him.

The Labour party chose a new leader after Blair left.

This is a common misunderstanding of people. When you vote in an election you are not voting for a PM you are voting for your local MP. The party with the most MP's forms a government. It is upto them who is PM and they can change PM when the like.
