20-20 form of cricket does not requires any special abilities to be a captain. Only requirement for that form is to be an all-rounder. Because any one would be getting an opportunity to bat in that form and therefore, would be a batsman's game. So if the batsman got to bowl few good overs then he needs to be an all-rounder along with a good fielding skills to prevent few boundaries.
Therefore, Dhoni or any one else can be fit enough to be a captain for 20-20 form of the game.

Still we cannot say anything about his captaincy until finish the world cup. Perhaps it will be a good decision. But my point of view, captaincy would disturb the Dhoni’s aggressive batting style and he will be under pressure.

It is good that they have made dhoni the captain as he is a wicket keeper and he can encourage the fielders and bowlers from behind the wicket and so it is helpful.however it is a tough task for Dhoni to overcome but if he overcomes it I think rather he would become the future captain when Dravid retires or comes down from his post of captain

It is a challenging task for Dhoni and if he perform well, he can look forward for the captaincy of Indian Team when Dravid retires.

In a 20/20 game, it is all batsman delight.....you need heavy
hitters and selecting youngsters who can bat, bowl and field well
