I read this before that they can hear him talk but they tend to dismiss what he says and ignore him,Brian is the only one who pays real attention to him because he is a baby they don't even take it into consideration.

I think they actually can hear him talking. It's just like any other kids, they're probably ignoring him.

i think they hear either baby talk or one or two words. like if stewie said look hear vile women give me back that weapon she would just hear him say mine

I think that he is not really talking but thinking out what it is. Either that or he really is talking but the others can't believe that a baby can be that intelligent so they ignore him.

i think it is like the rugrats where they tallk and no one can understand them except, some words which learned to say, so i think they can only understand the words that stewiw knows how to say, other than that it is baby talk that we and brian can only understand

Yeah, a talking baby and a Rhodes scholar for a dog. Really believable show, there.....that and American Dad. Both a waste of air time.
