In all honesty (usually I am sarcastic), it would depend on how well behaved the child was. If the mother has control and the child is respectful, then absolutely.

I did, I married her, adopted the daughter and have had 3 more children. One big happy family.

The issue is early on you have to protect the child. If there is a bond with the child you have to be careful if you decide the relationship has no future. Two adults can get over each other fairly easily, but a child can be damaged. As the mother and the b/f you must be smart and take it slow.

A lot of guys don't like the extra baggage, if it's a serious relationship a ready made family for a guy has questions of liability and support. Would you date a single father?

Oh yes, why not? I love kids. Besides, if the child is so adorable , it could even bring the relationship a step closer.

Yes, I have 2 so it would be hypocritical of me to shun a woman with her own kid. My Girlfriend has 3 from a previous marriage.

My experience is that they do. I am married to a man that has two of his own and gained 4 more from me. The children were never the issue. OUr love was.
