In an article in http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2007350453,00.html Elton John is quoted as saying,
"Instead they sit at home and make their own records, which is sometimes OK but it doesn’t bode well for long-term artistic vision."

Gee, that sounds like a rephrase of ,'if they make their _own_ records, they won't be buying -mine-!'

Elton John raised money for AlGore in 2000. How can one simultaneously be socialist and capitalist ?

Of course Elton John is a capitalist and a multimillionaire pop star.

Obviuosly Al Gore is not a socialist nor were his supporters.

Maybe if you ponder this for a while you will begin to figure out that "democrats = socialists" is propaganda for the simple minded.

Al Gore was not a socialist. Democrats in general are not socialist. Jesus was. Stop using the term as an insult.
