I used to smile a lot and now its a perpetual expression on my face. Even if I squint, I seem to be smiling.

I'm a girl but I just have to say this makes me really sad :/ It goes to show that girls are made (by society) to feel embarrassed to show what they actually look like without dolling themselves up. Meanwhile guys don't even attempt to do anything to themselves. Cos society says guys naturally look good but girls are naturally ugly. That's not true. I think the real problem is not if he still likes you or not, I think the problem is you need a confidence boost. But it's not just you. All girls do. Well that's just something to think about. You got plenty other good advice from guys. I just thought this needed a little mention as well.

I wear a smile, just don't know how natural it is!
I am the clown!
The Tears of a Clown
--------------------

Now if there's a smile on my face,
it's only there tryin' to fool the public,
but when it comes down to foolin' you;
Now honey, that's quite a different subject.
But don't let my glad expression
give you the wrong impression.
Really I'm sad.
I'm sadder than sad.
You're gone and I'm hurtin' so bad.
Like a clown I pretend to be glad.
(chorus)
Now there's some sad things known to man,
but ain't too much sadder than
the tears of a clown
when there's no one around.
Now if I appear to be carefree,
it's only to camouflage my sadness.
In order to keep my pride I try
to cover the hurt with a show of gladness.
But don't let my show convince you
that I've been happy since you
decided to go.
Oh, I need you so.
I'm hurt and I want you to know.
(chorus)
Just like Pagliacci did,
I try to keep my sadness hid.
(aaargh! I can't remember! It'll come to me and I'll send it along.)
But in my lonely room I cry
the tears of a clown
when there's no one around.

Yes! People always tell me to smile but I guess my natural face does not have a permanent smile on it.
